Lourdes López is the Founder and Managing Partner of Monfort Partners, a boutique executive search and leadership advisory firm specialising in Financial Services, Fintech, Payments, Technology and Private Equity-backed businesses.
With more than 20 years of experience in executive search and leadership advisory, she advises boards, CEOs, founders and investors on critical leadership appointments that drive growth, transformation and long-term value creation.
Prior to founding Monfort Partners, Lourdes served as Global Head of Financial Services at Boyden, where she led international executive search and leadership advisory assignments across Financial Services, Fintech, Payments, Technology and Professional Services. Earlier in her career, she founded and led GRP Executive Search, a boutique firm with offices in Madrid, Barcelona and Luxembourg.
Her executive search career began in London, focusing on Financial Services, particularly Investment Banking, Private Banking and Asset Management. Since then, she has delivered executive search assignments across more than 20 countries throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.
Throughout her career, Lourdes has partnered with organisations navigating periods of growth, transformation, digital disruption, international expansion and organisational change. She is recognised for combining deep sector expertise, international reach and a highly personalised advisory approach.
Alongside her executive search work, Lourdes lectures in Fintech and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Barcelona, where she teaches leadership and soft skills to postgraduate students. This combination of executive search, leadership advisory and academic involvement provides a distinctive perspective on how leadership is evolving in an era shaped by technology, data and AI.
Based in Madrid and working internationally, she continues to support organisations in building leadership teams capable of creating sustainable competitive advantage in increasingly complex and regulated markets.
